Sustainable supply chains are business-critical

· Sustainability

The UK hit a 38-year low for retail stock due to supply chain issues and a shortage of workers. Covid and Brexit have caused this disruption.

McDonald's has been forced to take milkshakes and bottled drinks off its menus. Nando's has announced the temporary closure of 45 outlets because of a shortage of chicken wings. Greggs, Costa and Wetherspoons, all either working with suppliers to change items on their menu or are unable to offer complete food and drink menus. At the same time, retail and manufacturing are heavily impacted.

Sustainable supply chains are business-critical.

Being proactive about assessing the sustainability of your supply chain is business-critical.
